CPROP Maps of Human Chromosomes - CPROP is an experimental program for doing map construction and integration. It is based on AI methods of reasoning with constraints. Information about distances and orders of loci derived from experiments and/or other maps are represented by constraints, and an inference process propagates these constraints around the map in an attempt to reduce uncertainty.

Baylor College of Medicine Genome Center - The Baylor College of Medicine server contains up to date information on YAC's and has a variety of genome information and links. Cooperative Human Linkage Center - The goal of the Cooperative Human Linkage Center is to develop high heterozygosity genetic maps that are greatly enriched for the presence of easy-to-use PCR-formatted microsatellite markers, with a particular emphasis on tri- and tetranucleotide repeats that are easy to genotype. The center will synthesize published genotypic data developed on the CEPH families by outside investigators, as well as genotypic information generated from marker development in CHLC core laboratories. The center is also open to assisting outside investigators who would like incorporation of their own genotypic information into these maps, as well.
The following projects and facilities are part of this effort:

The Integrated Genome Database - To consult IGD, you must "enter" in "Search Keyword" a complete sequence of ACEDB commands. Each individual command must be separated by ';' ACEDB Syntax - Commands are not case sensitive and can be abbreviated. This program maintains an internal list of current objects. You can List or Show the content of the list. You can change the list with the simple commands: Grep, Find, Is, Follow, Biblio. Perform complex queries with: Where search-string', where 'search-string' follows the acedb query syntax.

United Kingdom MRC HGMP Resource Centre - This is a collection of useful locations and services. Some of the information is public, but some is only available if you have registered as a user of the UK HGMP services.

LBL Human Genome Center Web Server - The LBNL Genome Sequencing Center is a large-scale sequencing operation. Using the directed sequencing strategy pioneered at LBNL, we have sequenced 2.3 megabases of Drosophila Melanogaster sequence and 700 kilobases of human 5q31 as of August, 1996. These sequences are now available from their FTP archive.
