• Actinomycetes-Streptomyces Resource Center
  Site includes a newsgroup-style posting board, job postings, meetings announcements, abstracts, a searchable directory of researchers, an online library, and information on research methods and Actinomycetes taxonomy.

• Biotechnology Program at the University of Florida
  This site includes program information, etc.

• Center for Molecular Biotechnology
  This research/education center is a joint effort of the California Institute of Technology and the University of Washington.

• Center for Plant Biotechnology Research at Tuskegee University
  "The primary mission of this Center is to employ innovative molecular and cellular genetic tools in the improvement of select crops such as sweetpotato, peanut, cowpea and muskmelon, and to provide training in plant biotechnology to ethnically underrepresented minority students and scientists from developing countries."

• CSUPERB
  The California State University Program for Education and Research in Biotechnology at San Diego State University.

• LLNL Biology and Biotechnology Research Program
  Program is run by Lawrence Livermore National Labs in conjunction with the Department of Energy and the Office of Health and Environmental Research. Offers jobs, research opportunites, teaching resources, etc.

• MABLE at the University of Sheffield
  This British university offers a MA/Diploma in Biotechnological Law and Ethics.

• Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research (Italy)
  The three main fields of interest at this private research foundation are: cancer, mental and nervous system disorders, and cardiovascular diseases.

• Master's Program in Biotechnology at Northwestern University
  This program strives to "prepare students to play a significant role in all aspects of the development of biotechnology products--from basic research to regulatory affairs to manufacturing and marketing."

• Plant Biotechnology Institute
  This Canadian Institute's page offers information in both English and French on PBI's research on transgenic plants.

• University of Maryland Biotechnology Institute
  "A hub of intensive study into the basic science of biotechnology and its application to human health, the marine environment, agriculture, and protein engineering/structural biology."

• University of New South Wales' Department of Biotechnology
  This Australian university offers several different undergraduate and graduate degrees in different biotechnology disciplines. Site includes information on coursework and faculty.

• UWBC Home Page
  The University of Wisconsin Biotechnology Center offers research opportunities in phytotechnology.
